Instructions
Sift matcha powder into a mug.
1½ tsp matcha powder
Add hot water and sugar. Mix well until the lumps are gone.
1 Tbsp hot water,
1-2 tsp sugar
Heat the milk until steaming, but not boiling. Froth until foamy with a milk frother.
1 cup milk
Pour the frothed milk over the matcha and enjoy!
Notes
Adjust the sweetness of matcha with sugar, simple syrup, maple syrup, or agave. It’s very easy to make matcha with no added sugar!
