We all grew up with boxes of fruit rollups. Whether you wrapped it around your fingers or you ate the three-foot long sugary treat bite-by-bite, you know fruit rollups all too well. And we know that they weren’t very nutritious things to eat. They’re full of fake sugar and other ingredients that we probably shouldn’t be putting in our bodies.

- Wash and clean your fruit. Remove all leaves, stems, cores.
- Add fruit into your food processor with the sugar.
- Transfer the puree to a saucepan.
- Cook until most of the liquid evaporates.

How to make Easy Fruit Roll Ups with 3 Ingredients
Step 1: Prep the Berries
Wash and cut off any leaves from 2 pounds of berries.
Step 2: Beat the Fruit
Add berries to the food processor with ¼ cup of sugar. Beat until smooth.
Step 3: Add the Lemon
Cut 1 fresh lemon and squeeze the juice out over the berries. Beat for another minute.
Step 4: Preheat
Preheat the oven to 200F.
Step 5: Cook the fruit
Transfer pureed fruit to a saucepan.
Step 6: Simmer the fruit
Over medium-high heat let the pureed berries simmer, stirring occasionally.
Step 7: Wait
Reduce to medium-low and cook until most of the liquid evaporates. (This will take about 30 minutes.)
Step 8: Prepare to bake
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 9: Pour the fruit out
Using a spatula spread the berries onto the parchment paper into a thin layer.
Step 10: Bake
Bake for 4-5 hours in the oven on 200F. (This will vary based on the oven. I have found that 5 hours is enough for most ovens.) The top should not be too sticky.
Step 11: Peel the fruit
Peel the fruit roll-up onto a clean parchment paper, the moist side up (bottom side). Bake for another 40-60 minutes.
Step 12: Let it cool
Let the fruit leather cool completely (this happens quickly).
Step 13: Cut it
Cut into pieces, roll, and and enjoy!
