Quick and Simple Mushroom Side Dish with Onion

Mushrooms work in our body as an antioxidant and boost our immune system. This dish is perfect as a side dish to any meal.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 small onion, thinly chopped
  • salt
  • 3 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil

Instructions

  • Wash mushrooms gently and quickly and slice them. Slice the onion as thin as possible.

  • Into a pan add extra virgin olive oil. Add in your sliced mushrooms, and stir occasionally sauté the mushrooms.

  • Salt to taste (I add about ¼ tsp.) As soon as the mushrooms begin to brown, add in the chopped onion.

  • Stir and sauté for another 5 minutes.
