Quick Homemade Croutons with Herbs

When you make your own croutons, you know what's in them. You can adjust the oil and seasoning to your liking and add some crunch to your salads!

Ingredients

  • 8-10 slices old bread
  • Tbsp olive oil
  • garlic salt
  • dried parsley, or any of your favorite herbs

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350F.
  • Cut the leftover bread into small cubes and put them on a baking sheet. Sprinkle with garlic salt and herbs, then drizzle with olive oil.
    8-10 slices old bread, garlic salt, dried parsley,, Tbsp olive oil
    Bread on a baking tray with seasonings and olive oil on the side.
  • Toss until all the ingredients have evenly distributed. Bake at 350F for 25 minutes.

Notes

  • Store croutons for up to two months in an airtight container or Ziploc bag.
