This paper presents an analysis about the relation between Christianity and Education, taking into account the cultural value of Christianity in our country, as well as their contributions to society, including historical and current characteristics of this controversial relation. This work constitutes in a bibliographical research and exploratory, with objective to bring on discussions about this few addressed theme. Thus, the research provides a parallel between the characteristics of the teaching of Jesus Christ and his Church with the educational process nowadays. Approaching issues inherent in the educational process concerning to the origin of knowledge, the difficult relationship between faith and science, methods of teaching, conceptions of the world, the role of religion in society and their implications for public and private education and culture, span the action of Christianity in the History of Education. Demonstrating that Christianity in itself, not just maintains a relationship with education, but, also it constitutes in an educational process, with similar goals to education secular. O cristianismo atualmente consiste no conjunto dos mais diversos grupos que tem em Cristo seu referencial de fé, estando espalhado nos mais diversos países.

2. INTRODUÇÃO

Na era medieval, a vida entre quatro paredes ficou mais recatada por coisa da influência da Igreja Católica. Mesmo pensar no assunto era proibido! Os homens orientais podiam, por exemplo, ter quantas mulheres quisessem, desde que conseguissem sustentar todas. Por volta do século 12, surgiu o chamado amor galane. Na corte, o cavaleiro levava o lenço da mulher amada. Mas idade uma amor platônico e infeliz — como os casamentos eram arranjados por interesses econômicos, o cavaleiro e a dama quase nunca ficavam juntos.
