Watermelon Smoothie with Strawberries
This watermelon smoothie is in a class of its own! It’s hydrating, refreshing, and so ridiculously delicious. The strawberries provide added flavor and nutrition, all to create this incredible cooler drink. It’ll become your go-to summer beverage!
What’s a Watermelon Smoothie Cooler?
When summer rolls around, we make sure to always have watermelon and berries on hand. We go through them like crazy, to the point where I started to think of other ways we could enjoy them instead of straight out of a bowl.
Since the heat and humidity where we live are pretty severe, I thought a refreshing drink would be a perfect choice! I added coconut water for its subtle flavor and hydrating properties, along with a little mint and lime to make the flavor as vibrant as possible!
This nutritious and delicious drink will make people of all ages feel good from the inside out!
Recipe Highlights
- Super Refreshing: This beverage is a great way to cool your body down after a hot summer day. Plus, if you add in the mint leaves, the refreshing and cooling factor goes way up!
- Healthy: I think this is what I love about this drink cooler the most. Not only is it super tasty, but it’s actually really good for you. The only added sugar is from a tablespoon of honey (which you can omit), and the watermelon and strawberry are full of vitamins and minerals.
- Super Simple: The only prep work is cutting the watermelon! Otherwise, the blender does all the work for you.
